Functions and features of d‑mute collars

Acoustic Signal

It enables to activate tone in the receiver the intensity of which the dog always perceives the same regardless of the distance from the dog handler. It can replace the whistle and is a very effective warning before sending a pacing command. Acoustic signal is a basic feature in all products.

Stimulation Impulse

It enables activation of alerts in the receiver at several levels in the form of safe stimulation impulses which the dog perceives as an uncomfortable feeling on the neck. The impulses are transmitted by two contact points located on the receiver. It has an option to select short or long impulse.

100% waterproof

The d-mute anti-bark collar is very easy to use, durable, and 100% waterproof, so it is suitable for every situation.

Basic specifications of electronic training collar d-mute

Electronic d-mute anti-barking collars are safe and effective means to help eliminate excessive or gratuitous barking of your dog. This collar represents a simple solution where your dog reacts to the slightest stimulus by barking or even barking all day in your absence thus irritating the neighborhood.

The collar is activated only by the vibrations of the dog's vocal cords thus this system avoids the risk of false triggering caused by the barking of another dog. The collar's sensitivity to vibration and stimulation mode is simply set. The collar has a total of five selectable barking correction modes; it has the option to select between acoustic signal, three levels of stimulation impulse and stimulation mode with increasing intensity in five steps.

The d-mute device, consisting of a receiver and collar, facilitates teaching the dog to remain quiet. The collar must be placed onto the dog’s vocal cords to accurately assess the barking; it must be sufficiently tightened so that it cannot change its position, but must not strangulate the dog. It activates automatically when the dog is barking, or when howling or growling. Operating mode, i.e. the sensitivity, the correction method and the response time, can be simply set. Correction means an acoustic signal or a stimulation impulse, or a combination of the two.

The electronic collar system uses modern technology based on a single-chip microprocessor. The collar is very easy to use, compact and 100% waterproof, hence suitable for every situation.

Principle of operation

In standby mode, the device is waiting for the dog to sound. When the barking starts, it emits a beep or beep with a stimulation impulse, the intensity of which depends on the mode selected. If the dog continues to bark, the device again emits an acoustic signal or acoustic signal with a stimulation impulse.

The collar emits the acoustic signal or acoustic signal with a stimulation impulse a maximum of 5 times and then stops automatically. After a longer pause (10 to 15 seconds), the system will return to standby mode, i.e. the next barking will trigger the acoustic signal or acoustic signal with a stimulation impulse.
