Despite the fact that we regularly visit the training center and Perseus (Argentinian Mastiff, 9 months) knows all the commands, letting him out was always a horror. He is a very good and sociable dog, too much so. So he ran away from us to every dog, unfortunately also to strangers whom he liked to greet. Some people understandably don't like it and some are afraid when such a big dog runs towards them.
I had no choice but to take the Dogtrace electronic training collar d-control 1000. In the end, I am very glad I did. Perseus listens, he always comes running at the mere beep, so far there has been no need to use the stimulation impulse.
Although we still continue to exercise, this collar is my sure thing. A reassurance that I don't have to worry about letting my dog out, that he would run away. Perseus runs so beautifully and I give relief to my hands from the leash as I am 48 kg myself.
I love big dogs and Dogtrace makes me a proud owner.
